GOVERNMENT HOUSE.

HONGKONG. 24th. October, 1915.

I have the honour to forward a copy of a letter

addressed to this Government by the Hongkong Electric Company regarding the delay in delivery of the plant required for their new power station, which is now in course of erection.

2. It is undoubtedly in the public interest that the Station should be completed at as early a date as possible and I shall therefore be glad if the Company's request may be kept in

view, to be conceded as soon as Imperial interests may permit.

I have the honour to be,

Sir.

Your most obedient,

humble servant,
